Dr. Presser had been practicing in the North Shore/LIJ health system on Long Island until 2006. However, he fulfilled a promise to his wife that he would return to California to be closer to her family and started roots in Palm Springs. His knowledge in minimally invasive lung and mediastinal surgery with video assist technology results in smaller incisions, less pain and stress on the body, and shorter recovery and hospitalization. He is on staff at Desert Regional Medical Center and JFK Hospital.
